I’m a simple man, and while I think it’s important to be mindful, I also think one shouldn’t complicate their day too heavily with the need to be super serious all the time.

Which is why the Words of Wisdom today are Vibe Time, a somewhat silly but important reminder of why it pays to be able to get into a relaxed state of mind on the regular.
In some ways, the human mind is extraordinarily complex, and I’m certain we will never truly understand it, for however long the human race continues to endure. However, in other ways, the human mind is ridiculously simplistic, and like most things on the face of this planet, can be tamed with a little bit of effort. In that way, something as simple as Pavlovian Conditioning can help trick the mind into doing things, suggestive reactions based on cues that can trigger a certain response. We can use this to our advantage, in helping to create a much more effective tool for thinking in the everyday.
With that in mind, we always are able to think the most clearly when we are level headed, so staying in a place that is one of a calm, relaxed manner is vital to sound decision making, which is why it’s important to be able to trigger Vibe Time at a moments notice. Whether it’s through something like a sound, be it a specific noise, or maybe a type of music that can help trigger the state, have some type of way to be able to trigger the noise on the fly, and have it be something you associate in your past with that you considered either relaxing or a particularly enjoyable moment in time. After a while, you’ll start to associate playing the noise or music with that state of mind, and you’ll be able to achieve Vibe Time on the fly. Simple, but effective. Give it a try, its helped me unwind for sure, I’m sure It will do the same for you.
