Sic Parvis Magna…greatness from small beginnings. A phrase I became familiar with through my love of the Uncharted series, and one I regularly think about in my own absurdist quest of self-discovery, and one that’s taken me from my own humble origins that started all the way back in September 2012 on the original version of Active Time Event, to now, with the new and improved version of ATE 2.0 now alive and kicking.
And much like a one Leon S. Kennedy wearing cat ears, I’m feeling as playful as I am ready to get shit the fuck done
Just like with the old ATE, I will largely focus on a deep dive into gaming, design, philosophy, and the ideas of personal identity, mixed together with a little bit of humor, rolled up into a delicious conceptual burrito for all to enjoy. I hope you will join me in my continued quest of curiosity within the gaming realm, as I take time to consider what’s important in life, both in the virtual and literal sense, while having a good time enjoying the glorious suffering that will follow suit. I’m hoping to have Doom: The Dark Ages beaten in the very near future, at which point I will ingratiate you with some final thoughts on the melee infused mania of id software’s latest outing of lavishly ludicrous proportions.
At the moment, I can think of no better way to celebrate this Memorial Day than to use The Dark Ages savage new blunt weaponry dubbed “The Dreadmace” than to celebrate with gratuitously gorey gusto.
Memorialize a demonic ass whopping with this beastly bludgeoning bad boy
Until then, stay groovy.
