To Do List: Conquer Hell, Check

They say that eyes are the windows to the soul, and that looking into them, you get a true sense for what kind of majestic sense of beauty they maintain their household with.

Other times however, you don’t even have to ring the doorbell to conclusively know that no one is home

This is relevant in today’s musings in as far as looking at oneself in the mirror and asking: what kind of shit do I need to get done today? Which is a kind of kick ass attitude I can get behind. I normally write a “Words of Wisdom” post on my Mondays, as it’s the end of my work week, I’m completely exhausted, but I still want to get an article out that day if I’m on a hot streak of writing everyday. However, my writing this week has been mostly absent, and my last W.o.W involving framework thinking feels like it was just yesterday, so best to avoid the acknowledgement all together, lest one feel unseated by the proximity.

That same feeling one gets when reminiscing about a game that “just came out the other day” and that other day was in fact almost 30 years ago

Still felt like I wanted to get something out within my down time, and I have been gearing up to write about a number of games I’ve recently started that I want to talk about in some form or fashion. Having recently acquired a PS5, I’ve been enjoying Astro’s Playroom, as well as having started Rift of the Necrodancer on the Switch, and Elden Ring: Nightreign (PS5). I also just recently 100%ed Doom: The Dark Ages (XsX), and want to start on To a T, a new game by Katamari creator Keita Takahashi, which is an indie game about a character who is stuck in a t pose. I’ve got a lot on my plate this week, and considering the games I just mentioned, a buffet to last me well into July at this rate. With my To Do List firmly intact, we have an exciting week ahead of us.

Let’s get to it.
